If you showed up looking for Alex Jacob’s blog, join the club! We came here the other day to find out what the heck happened at the 2010 World Series of Poker, and discovered that this domain was up for grabs. So we jumped on it, like the greedy little opportunists that we are, and figured we’d keep it going for the other Jacob fans out there.

Problem is, we don’t really know all that much at this point. We’ve been following Alex’s career with some interest for the past few years, but we’re not like stalkers or have a shrine to Alex in our toolshed or anything (we don’t even have a toolshed, in fact).

We do, however, have some basic knowledge of Alex’s history, and some basic understanding of Texas Hold’em. We’ve also got a few bills to pay, so don’t be too surprised when you see ads and links to places like online casino USA. We promise that nothing that you click on from this site will hurt you or steal your soul (and by that we mean, of course, that you won’t get any malware or put your personal information in any sort of danger).

So we threw together a quick bio of the man in question, and put up a few pages on the wonderful game/sport/profession of Texas Hold’em Poker. It won’t be of much use to the serious players, but it might help the beginners a bit — we wish we had something like it when we were getting started!

But then again, when we were getting started, the Internet was made up of a few dozen computers and Alex Jacob hadn’t been conceived yet. So yeah, we’re old…
